The lonely snow bunting.

I took this picture last November. I was very lucky as I was walking in some fields, I saw two other photographers pointing their cameras downward. Inquiring on the bird at my feet, I was told that it was a rare snow bunting, an arctic bird. It was very tame and just was eating seeds or grass. Only one individual was found in the area.

Canon T2i, Canon zoom lens 75-300 mm, iso 160, f’5.6, 1/400 sec.
