The Common Tern.

I took this picture late summer as I visited an area called the Lachine Rapids. It is a small area of land that sits away from the mainland. The interesting thing is that numerous birds fly over it and sometimes stay there. Some of these birds are the common terns. They area a delight to watch as they plunge form dizzying heights to catch their fish. Taking pictures at rest was a lot easier.
