The red-breasted nuthatch.

This picture was taken in late May. I had never seen before this nuthatch, a small bird that is usually found climbing trees up and down. I had seen often the white breasted nuthatch but never the red-breasted one. And suddenly i saw it, straight in front of me. I was happy to snap a few pictures, despite the low level of lighting. This explains my iso of 1000.

Canon T2i, Canon zoom lens 75-300 mm, iso 1000, f/5.6, 1/500 sec.
