Dragonfly in the sun.

I took this picture last year at the end of August. I was quite lucky as I was looking for insects and birds but happened to see this dragonfly far away from me resting in the sun. Usually, I would use my 150 mm macro for such a job, but as I did not have it with me i used my 75-300 zoom lens. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of detail i was able to get out of this picture. No doubt that with a macro lens the detail would have been even better.

Canon T2i, Canon zoom lens 75-300 mm, iso 100, f/7.1, 1/400 sec.
