Two hawks on a branch.

Another picture taken from mid-July. I was walking in the botanical garden looking around me when suddenly my eye caught something on a branch. I  approached slowly and using the zoom on my lens I was amazed to see not one but two Cooper’s hawk sitting on a branch, no doubt taking in the sun. These were young ones born this year. I was able to take several good pictures of which this one was the best.

Canon T2i, Canon zoom lens 75-300 mm, iso 200, f/7.1, 1/200 sec.
