Song sparrow.


This picture was taken in mid-may. I had heard this bird sing many times before but I had been unable to see it clearly. At times it was perched high up in the tress and at other times it was well hidden. I finally saw it and had a clear shot at it. I think that it turned out well. This sparrow is probably the best known of the native sparrows that we have and can be found through-out North America.
