Green insect that shines!

I love this insect simply because of the colors that it displays when the sun’s rays hits it. I captured this image in early June, by accident. I was looking around some plants near the ground when I saw it slowly walking around the perimeter of a leaf. I waited and waited to get a good side shot so that the sun could shine on its back. It is so small that it is barely the length of my nail on my little finger. Easy to miss.
