This picture was taken at the beginning of September, when the weather was still warm and flying insects of all shapes and sizes were busy . In the case of this picture, I was at the tail end of my day and really wanted to get some pictures of bees or wasps. I was hand holding the camera so I could really be close to the insects, but not too close. A bunch of them were on this flower. I simply isolated one of them and obtained the best picture I could.

Canon XTI, Sigma lens 150mm, iso800, f/6.3, 1/800sec.
