Seeds in the wind…

It was a cold and windy weekend, not really what one expects of Spring. By my estimates we are at least one week behind in the schedule. I still went out and took pictures, but not of insects as the cold really precludes their appearance. But some spring flowers are trying to break through here and there.

Due to the winds I had to take most of my pictures using a high iso speed, to freeze the movement of the flower. That of course entails more noise on pictures….I used my macro lens to really focus on the small seeds in this budding flower.

Canon XTI, Sigma 150mm macro, iso800, f/8.0, 1/1250sec.
