The end of tulip season.

The end of the tulip season is at hand, unfortunately the season does not last long perhaps from April to mid-May. This colorful explosion of colors is one of my favourite periods of the year as the variety of tulips is simply incredible. Some sprout early in April while others are more visible in May. I could have chosen several other pictures representing tulips but I chose the one below as it shows the kaleidoscope of colors that are possible. It is of course from the botanical garden of Montreal.

  1. If I would have known that you liked tulips, I would have taken a picture of my purple tulips (called Negrita) which happily did come out this year (the squirrels didn’t get to them fast enough this year!)
