Interesting architecture…but not in Montreal!


Stumbled upon a review of some new buildings that will be built by the architect Jean Nouvel for the National Museum of Qatar. It will be built in Doha, who not so long ago was only a small fishing town. But of course, the oil boom in Quatar changed all this.

The title of this post simply reflects my feelings that we never build in Montreal such interesting buildings. All our buildings are the same box-like structures, some tall and some short. The last intersting building built in Montreal, for me, was the Olympic staduim, and look how many people dislike it! Here is a link below to the article in question:
